Theories of Flight by Sheila Ghidini will be installed in the gallery during our special 4 Day Show during the SF Fine Art Fair at Fort Mason.

Theories of Flight is a series of works completed between 1991-1994. The focus of the work deals with the creative process and its capacity to serve as a vehicle to transport oneself and to alter one’s perceptions of time and place.  In this installation, memory is also connected through the drawings of leaves from a particular place from the past, drawn and dropped from the chair at the top of the ladder.
