This is what Susan says about her work:
These collages take the viewer on a journey into a lush dimensional world of color, textures and shapes. Each piece has an underlying feeling of movement or flowing which helps to unify the elements in the work.

I love this work!
ReplyDeleteWe have a number of Susan's pieces available.
ReplyDeleteI could stare at Susan's work for hours! There is so much depth and movement. Her use of color and form is impeccable. Thank you for sharing her work.
ReplyDeleteSusan created a very special piece for my boyfriend and I last year when we remodeled our house. My boyfriend is a huge San Diego Chargers fan and we wanted a new way to display some of his memorabilia in a way that didn't look like it belonged in a pub. Sue created an absolutely stunning piece for us for our accent wall that incorporated his Chargers theme and memorabilia beautifully. It is an absolutely stunning piece with incredible depth and detail. It is so exciting to notice something new and different in the layering of the artwork every day.
ReplyDeleteFrom an interior design perspective, Susan's work has two rare qualities - you can create a room around it, because it is compelling but not overwhelming, and it enhances almost every type of environment. Susan also works in a variety of palettes, so I can always find a palette that compliments a room. Her collages are versatile, uplifting and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOne of the collages above, Clear Perceptions, was being created last month when I had a photo shoot in my studio by photographer, Dorothy Brown. She talks about my work and has photos of the collage being created on the her website at http://dorothybrownphotography.com/2011/03/29/peaceful-paper-the-art-of-susan-adame/
ReplyDeleteThanks for the listing in the blog!
